The 700 for 700 Challenge – Every Kilometre Counts!

To celebrate reaching 700 members, Westport AC is launching our 700 for 700 Community Challenge, bringing our members, families, friends and wider community together for eight days of activity, fun and fundraising in support of Sunflower Children's Hospice, Castlebar, https://sunflowerchildrenshospice.ie/
From Saturday 24th October, we're inviting everyone to get moving, clock up the kilometres and help us celebrate this incredible milestone.
Whether you're one of our youngest Little Athletics members taking your first laps of the track, a juvenile athlete attending training, a parent heading out for a walk, or a seasoned runner tackling a marathon, every kilometre counts!
Our challenge begins with 700 kilometres – but just how far can our incredible community go?
We're keeping the total distance achieved a secret throughout the week, building excitement for the big reveal at our Halloween Grand Finale!

We're finishing our 700 for 700 Challenge in style with a fantastic Halloween-themed celebration at our athletics track, and we'd love to see everyone there!
This is our chance to bring the entire Westport AC family together, celebrate reaching 700 members, enjoy some Halloween fun and support a wonderful local cause.
There'll be plenty for the children and adults to enjoy, including:

After eight days of walking, jogging and running, we'll finally announce just how many kilometres our amazing club and community have covered together.
Will we reach 700 kilometres? Will we smash that target? Just how far can 700 members and their families take us?
