The C & C Cellular/Mayo Athletic U9 – U11 Team Events took place in Claremorris at the weekend.  Ten clubs from Mayo competed in the championships.  Two new clubs – Erris and Moy Valley competed for the first time.  Athletics in Mayo is proving more popular all the time with five new clubs in the past few years.  Thanks to all who officiated on the day, the Civil Defence and the committee of Claremorris Atheltic Club for providing us with refreshments.
